Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a full-time Diabetologist/Endocrinologist at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor to work in the Adult Division. The Center provides state-of-the-art diabetes care to over 2,500 adults with type 1 diabetes or insulin requiring type 2 diabetes. This is a position requiring an enthusiasm for medical research and knowledge or interest in type 1 diabetes. A combination of previous clinical and research experience, diverse talents and excellent interpersonal skills is required. The Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes (BDC) is the largest diabetes institute in the world specializing in type 1 diabetes research and care for children and adults. Over 200 employees, including clinicians, clinical researchers, basic biomedical scientists and supporting staff work at the BDC to find the most effective treatment, prevention, and/or cure for type 1 diabetes. Anticipated Pay Range: |
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: Associate Professor: $215,000 - $250,000 Professor: $235,000 - $275,000 Possibility of incentives based on clinical effort. The Medical Director Position comes with a $15,000 stipend. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
