The Department of Theatre & Dance is accepting applications for multiple Temporary Theatre and Dance Production Assistant positions! These roles assist with various duties relating to production and facility needs in the Department of Theatre and Dance.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Support the Department of Theatre and Dance with production tasks for the dance and theatre seasons, as well as potential off-season work. Tasks may include assistance with crew duties for the Theatre, Dance, Costumes, or House Management areas. This may also include working with inventory (including sorting and moving items) and space-related tasks in association with our off-site Theatre and Dance storage building. Job includes physical labor. May act in a limited leadership role among student assistants.
What You Should Know
- This is a temporary, part-time position working up to 20 hours per week.
- Typical schedule is Monday through Friday during business hours. Some hours during evenings and weekends may be requested during production season.
What We Can Offer
The hourly rate for these part-time positions is $20.00 per hour.
Benefits
Temporary positions at the University of Colorado are not benefits-eligible, however, all positions are eligible for paid sick leave.

What We Require
- One year of related experience working within in a theatre or dance environment. Experience as part of an undergraduate college experience can apply.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
What You Will Need
Skills in a related area may include: carpentry, audio, lighting, sewing, wardrobe, maintaining and repairing equipment.
What We Would Like You to Have
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 1 year of experience in a production environment for theatre and/or dance.
