The Director of Principal Gifts is a front-line fundraiser position responsible for managing a comprehensive principal gift portfolio for Fairfield and surrounding areas. This role requires building productive relationships with a broad range of constituencies, including donors, campaign volunteers, and University leaders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of fundraising success, excellent interpersonal skills, tact, and diplomacy, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and positively represent the University and Foundation. In addition to meeting the strategic objectives of the University, this role will contribute to the overall productivity and efficiency of the Division/Department's development staff, by meeting or exceeding goals in a metrics-driven environment.
