The Carole and Ray Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Division of Endocrine Neoplasia at UConn Health seek an energetic individual who is a board certified physician-scientist with demonstrated expertise in Endocrine Neoplasia.
UConn Health's Endocrine Neoplasia Program is a premier program in the region with strong referral demand for its clinical care. The ideal candidate will perform thyroid ultrasound, elastography and fine needle aspiration biopsy in the Neag Cancer Center and interact with other specialists to perform venous sampling, dynamic endocrine testing, genetic analysis and multimodality imaging of endocrine tumors. This individual as the Assistant or Associate Professor will be expected to identify areas of opportunity and expand existing or develop new clinical programs. This is a full time clinical position and shared on-service call.
The Carole and Ray Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center has strong Divisions of Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Endocrine Neoplasia, Radiation Oncology, Thoracic Oncology, Neuro Oncology and Gynecological Oncology. We also have strong research programs in cancer immunotherapy, cancer prevention, cancer genomics and cancer cell biology. The Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine, located on our campus, is a partner institution.
