Soft Tissue Surgery Veterinary Technician I/II CARE
Job Description:Nursing staff in the Soft Tissue and Minimally Invasive Surgery service assist with appointments, small procedures under sedation and anesthesia in both sterile and aseptic conditions, and diagnostic workups including digital radiography, ultrasound, and CT, along with a host of other nursing skills and client communication. This position focuses on evaluation and recheck appointments, inpatient care, and coordination of diagnostics and surgical planning rather than being in the operating room. Members of our team work closely with boarded veterinary surgeons, residents/interns, and veterinary students in a fast paced teaching and learning environment. Expected Salary:$18-$22, non-credentialed technician $20-$25, credentialed technician

- Graduate from an accredited American Veterinary Medical Association program for veterinary technology OR
- Credentialed veterinary technician
This is a CARE position offering limited benefits, including health insurance and paid time off. When appropriate certifications are achieved, promotional opportunities to a level II title may be available. This position will also become eligible for transition into a TEAMS (staff) salary plan.
