Position Information Position Title Manager Undergraduate Services FLSA Classification EX Reports to Dean Salary Range F Weeks Per Year 52 Work Week 40 hours (minimum) Position Summary Assumes responsibility for leading the Barney School of Business Student Success Hub efforts designed to support retention goals for undergraduate students. Handles highly sensitive information with confidentiality and tact while safeguarding the interests and well-being of the student. Serves as a liaison between students, faculty, and campus services. Performs all duties in full support of the University’s mission understanding that the positive and effective execution of these duties are instrumental to the education of the University’s students.

Hiring Range Budgeted starting salary is $50,445 to $55,000, depending upon experience Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Advising Oversight

Manages and maintains the continuous update of standard operating procedures, workshops for advisors and faculty, and Undergraduate Blackboard. Delivers workshops as needed to faculty. Instructs faculty on advising techniques for a full understanding of the curriculum
Serves to support all undergraduate programs as necessary and appropriate.
Creates and monitors advising policies for undergraduate, and 3 1 programs.
Assigns academic advisors to students within Banner. Maintains the advising database.

Registration

Manages the distribution of undergraduate PIN list each semester. Reviews and approves academic forms to include registration add / drop requests, and override approvals, and grade changes.

Updates student records in Degree Works as required.

Collaborates with Center for Student Success to register incoming students and transition students from first year faculty mentors to faculty advisors.

Creates and updates programs of study for undergraduate students.

3 1 Accelerated Program

Manages the Barney 3 1 Accelerated Program(s), including oversight and tracking of student registration records. Maintains program cohort lists.

Prepares waiver lists for billing purposes.

Creates cohort-based events for the program.

Undergraduate Student Support

Acts as the primary point of contact for the undergraduate department email. Provides quality customer service to both internal and external constituencies on the telephone, in person and in writing. Handles highly sensitive information with confidentiality and tact while safeguarding the interest and well-being of the student.

Participates in orientations, open houses and other activities as needed to assist in student onboarding efforts.

Maintains effective student relationships in order to understand student needs and address them in a timely manner in conjunction with campus partners.

Collaborate with Associate Dean to design and implement student experience surveys.

Conduct focus groups to gather student feedback.

Operational / Administrative

In partnership with the Office of the Registrar staff, constructs academic standing reports, conducts degree audits, and supports transfer credit evaluation and articulation.

Reviews graduation application audits.

Manages Degree Works (or similar system) to track degree progress, in conjunction with Office of the Registrar.

Maintains and updates the Learning Management System (Blackboard or equivalent) for undergraduate programs.

Collaborates with multiple campus partners to ensure best student experience and outcomes.

Performs other related duties as assigned. Posting Detail Information Posting Number PS1063P Working Conditions Normal office situation, requires travel excluding overnight stays.
