Facilitates timely responses and ensures all relevant documentation is transmitted in the requested format by applicable deadlines. 6. Facilitates the release of CIP funds appropriated to the University by the State for individual capital improvement projects. Monitors and tracks the total allotment of funds associated with each respective project over the course of implementation.7. *Directs the monitoring of CIP projects to ensure compliance with the approved budget allocations and to verify projects will meet encumbrance deadlines.8. *Prepares CIP related reports and analyses for internal use as well as in response to inquiries from University executives, administrators, legislators, or federal and state agencies.9. Works closely with external stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships with state agencies and offices engaged in matters related to CIP financing.14. Advocates for and participates in the implementation of enhancements to existing enterprise business systems. Conveys business requirements and aids with the evaluation of new technology solutions that support capital project delivery and/or capital program management. 15. Identifies opportunities for external financing that may be applicable to specific projects. Advanced and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of a wide range of developing and emerging concepts, principles and methodologies in the area of asset, liability, revenue and expenditure accounting.3. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of a wide range of principles, theories, federal and state laws and systems associated with public or government accounting.4. Demonstrated ability to understand problems from a broad interactive perspective and use reasoning to discern underlying principles and issues when problem solving, and apply creative thinking to resolve problems in new and innovative approaches.5.
