The University of Houston Andy and Barbara Gessner College of Nursing at Sugar Land is seeking an outstanding candidate with the potential for exceptional clinical practice, scholarship, and excellence in teaching. Medical surgical clinical and teaching experience are a plus. The anticipated start date for a qualified applicant for a 9 month promotion eligible non-Tenure-Track faculty position with a starting date as early as Fall 2023, the search will continue until the position is filled.

Qualifications
- Doctorate in nursing or related field required.
- Master's degree in nursing from a professionally accredited school of nursing if the doctorate is not in nursing.
- National certification in clinical specialty area required.
- Candidate must possess unencumbered license as a registered nurse in Texas.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required. Medical Surgical is a plus.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience required. Medical Surgical is a plus.
- Published in peer reviewed articles.
