Specifically, this includes monitoring the activities on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floor Fitness Center areas, and overlooking the activities in the gymnasium, bouldering wall, fitness studios, and running track.

The Fitness Attendant is responsible for supporting the structure, direction, services, and programs of the Wellness & Success Center. Specifically, this includes monitoring the activities on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floor Fitness Center areas, and overlooking the activities in the gymnasium, bouldering wall, fitness studios, and running track.
Duties
- Monitor activities on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floor Fitness Center area
- Frequently monitor activities in the gymnasium, running track, fitness studios, and bouldering wall
- Check out fitness equipment for eligible users
- Clean equipment daily and throughout the shift as needed
- Greet and assist individuals with Fitness Center issues and proper usage of fitness equipment
- Follow and enforce all policies and procedures in Sports & Fitness
- Provide information on Sports & Fitness programs, services, and functions
- Attend occasional staff meetings, Sports & Fitness special events, and university/division-sponsored events
- Other duties as assigned.
- Interest in fitness or athletics is encouraged
- Familiar with fitness equipment
- Friendly and dependable
- Helpful and customer service oriented
- Must be a current UHD student and in good standing with the university
- Must be willing to work early mornings, midday, evenings, and weekends
