The Sports & Fitness Member Services/Front Desk Attendant is responsible for supporting
the structure, direction, services, and programs of the Wellness & Success Center.
Specifically, this includes monitoring the access to the building, answering the phone,
University ID requests, equipment check out, and providing facility information to
members.

Description
The Sports & Fitness Member Services/Front Desk Attendant is responsible for supporting
the structure, direction, services, and programs of the Wellness & Success Center.
Specifically, this includes monitoring the access to the building, answering the phone,
University ID requests, equipment check out, and providing facility information to
members.
Duties
- Monitor access into the building; this includes checking I.D.s through the department system and completing the appropriate paperwork
- Greet and assist individuals entering the facility
- Check out sports equipment for eligible users
- Answer the main switchboard and direct calls accordingly
- Follow and enforce all policies and procedures in Sports & Fitness
- Provide information on Sports & Fitness programs, services, and functions
- Attend occasional staff meetings, Sports & Fitness special events, and university/division-sponsored events
- Other duties as assigned
- Interest in fitness or athletics is encouraged
- Friendly and dependable
- Helpful and customer service oriented
- Must be a current UHD student and in good standing with the university
- Must be willing to work early mornings, midday, evenings
