What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Non-Exempt Staff, Upward Bound position at University of Houston?
Duties
- Provides tutorial assistance for 9th -12th graders from Targeted schools
- Assists in other program related activities such as field trips, workshops,etc
- Maintains availability for guidance and tutoring at all times, in addition to established tutoring hours
- Able to work evenings and weekend during Fall and Spring sessions
- Able to work June, July and August for Upward Bound Summer program
- Ability to work with, and encourage, Low-Income and First-Generation participants
