Salary: The previously determined range for this position was $38.60/hr to $83.23/hr*. Final rate offered will be determined by the collective bargaining agreement, internal salary equity, candidate experience and qualifications, and budget constraints. This position requires Illinois residency within 180 days of the hire date.(RNs only)

Position Summary
Administrative Nurse I is responsible for directing patient care, related unit activities and personnel on an assigned shift utilizing the Nursing Process and Relationship-Based Care model as the framework in order to ensure quality patient care and work flow. The ANI identifies work priorities, determines and coordinates daily assignments and staff scheduling. The Administrative Nurse I takes initiative to improve patient outcomes by integrating Shared Leadership, Evidence Based Practice, Relationship Based Care and standards of nursing excellence into practice. Through therapeutic relationships with patients, families, self and colleagues, the Administrative Nurse I functions as role model who directs patient care and fulfills unit and organizational goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- Licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in Illinois with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Division of Professional Regulation.
- One year of RN experience.
- Current AHA BLS/CPR and other required unit specific certifications.
- Effective communication skills (oral and written) that facilitate therapeutic relationships between patients, family, and health care providers.
- Intermediate computer skills with the ability to become proficient in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) with on-the-job training.
- Excellent attendance, interpersonal skills and work history required.
- Minimially one year of relevant clinical experience and/or in an ambulatory care setting.
- Current Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy certification required prior to hire.
- Oncology experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Is self-directed and works well in groups/teams exercising sound clinical judgement.
- Infusion experience preferred.
