An employee in this position should be fluent in English/Spanish (written and oral) to communicate with bilingual customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provides support to the Director and staff of the Hispanic Center of Excellences in various capacities of administration. This will also include fluently in translating in English/Spanish (written and oral) to communicate with bilingual customers.Maintaining scheduling of calendars, sending communication announcements on behalf of the Department Head; Checking voicemails daily, direct incoming calls, faxing/stocking paper in the copy machine and distributing mail daily. Oversee ordering of supplies, p and t card payment, I-Buy orders.Assist the Assistant Director with budget and finance verification of proper funding sources. Correspondence and coordinating events with various departments (eg. Office of Advancement).
