- Serves as senior advisor to the Dean and College leadership on sensitive, complex HR matters that require in- depth knowledge of both HR policy and practice, faculty affairs, and college and departmental organizational structures.
- Provide leadership in guiding managers to effective communication that resolves employee relations issues and supports conflict resolution.
- Provides strategic leadership and oversight to the Gies HR Partners team and all HR services and matters across the college.
- Accountable for ensuring Gies College of Business is in compliance with all federal, state, university and campus regulations, policies and best practices.Gies Office of FacilitiesProvide leadership and direction to the Sr. Director of Facilities and the campus and university offices involved in the construction, remodeling and maintenance of the business campus including Steven S. Wymer Hall, Business Instructional Facility, Irwin Doctoral Facility and Wohler’s Hall.
- Oversee facilities team in space management, construction, maintenance/operations to ensure college can deliver on its teaching, research and public engagement missions.
- Partner with Sr. Director of Facilities to allocate brick and mortar resources across college operational and academic units and ensure policies and procedures support operational needs of organization and safety of staff and students. Organizational and Operational StrategyServe as key advisor to the Dean in determining and implementing efficient and effective college organizational structure to support college purpose driven goals and mission.
- Partner with the Sr. Director of budgets to provide talent related analytics and data projections for unit personnel budgets and fiscal year hiring plans.
