Position Summary
UIC Technology Solutions - Software Development and Delivery team is seeking graduate students to assist with DevOps Engineering projects. The ideal candidate will assist in managing and automating our infrastructure, improving deployment processes, and ensuring system reliability.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with building, maintaining, and improving CI / CD pipelines. Ensure automation in the deployment process and minimize manual intervention.
- Assist with configuring services in cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Assist with monitoring system performance and ensure infrastructure security, identifying and resolving potential risks promptly.
- Assist with automating routine infrastructure management and configuration tasks, reducing human error and enhancing efficiency.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
