The Assistant Professor’s responsibilities include didactic and clinical instruction within the content area of expertise in the undergraduate programs, service to the School of Nursing, University, and community, participation in scholarly activities, and academic advising. This is a full-time, 10-month, on-campus, in-person faculty position with a 27 credit hour load requirement.

Requirements/Qualifications
- Must have three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- An earned master’s degree (doctorate strongly preferred) in nursing. If the incumbent holds a master’s degree, they must obtain a doctorate within 5 years of hire.
- Unencumbered RN license in the State of Indiana
- Delivers courses with clear outcomes, meaningful assignments, and transparent and timely assessment
- Models effective teaching and professionalism
- Manages inclusive and responsive learning environments
- Attends and participates collaboratively in department and faculty meetings
- Remains flexible and responsive in teaching and conducts office hours weekly posted in the course for students
- Coordinates the use of academic coaches as necessary based on course enrollments
- At least 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
