Full/Part Time Status: Part Time Position Description:
The Department of Pathology at The University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine seeks candidates for an Associate Professor or Professor position on the clinical track to take part in an active renal pathology service.
Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any misconduct history or pending research misconduct investigation including but not limited to sexual misconduct in prior employment and provide a related release and will be subject to a criminal background and credential check.
Education Requirement:- MD or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology residency program
- Fellowship training or equivalent experience/expertise in renal pathology
- >5 years of academic experience
- Board certification in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology with credentials required to obtain a medical license in the State of Iowa
- Demonstrated ability to excel at scholarship and/or teaching
- Evidence of leadership potential
