Job Description
Required Qualifications:
- Education: The position will be filled by a scientist possessing a Ph.D. and/or M.D. or D.V.M. degree.
- Work Experience: A tenure-track faculty position in reproductive or developmental biology is available in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center. The position will enhance the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine’s current interdisciplinary research strengths with opportunities to collaborate with outstanding scientists pursuing basic and translational investigations (https://www.kumc.edu/school-of-medicine/academics/departments/pathology.html). Applications will be considered from early and established scientists. Academic appointment (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor), compensation, and start-up package will be competitive and commensurate with experience and scientific accomplishments.
- Skills: Investigators with documented expertise in reproductive or developmental biology are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong publication history and proven ability to obtain NIH funding.
- Responsibility 1: Establish and maintain an independent federally-funded research program, with opportunities to collaborate with members of the Institute for Reproduction and Perinatal Research (http://www.kumc.edu/school-of-medicine/irpr.html)
