Job Description Summary

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Kansas Medical Center is seeking an additional BC/BE physiatrist for full time faculty position with specialized training and interest in Sports Medicine Rehabilitation. Applicants are invited at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Professor (tenure or non-tenure track) based on experience.

Job Duties

• Manage Rehabilitation Medicine patients/program along with teaching and scholarly activity.
• Functional restoration and pain management in patients with musculoskeletal and/or sports medicine rehabilitation needs.
• Conduct musculoskeletal and/or specialty clinics in location(s) as determined.
• Supervise and teach residents, fellows and medical students when assigned to clinics or to the rehabilitation unit.
• Lecture to fellows, residents and students. Attend Grand Rounds as scheduled.
• Maintain scholarship commensurate with appropriate academic track.

Education

Required Qualifications:

• MD or DO
• Board Certified/Board eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Work Experience:

• ACGME Fellowship Training in Sports Medicine
