Provide in house cross coverage and admitting care for General Internal Medicine patients from 8 pm - 8 am in a 5-7 day on / off sequence. This schedule includes weekends. Job Description :
- Provide in house cross coverage and admitting care for General Internal Medicine patients.
- Train and educate medical students and residents in patient care settings and in formal and informal group education formats.
- Interaction with residents in a triage and supervisory role. Closed ICU. Full sub-specialty support.
- Provide service to the department and to the university.
- Engage in research.
