Key Roles and Responsibilities :
Assist with faculty affairs administrative duties, including workday activities.
Distribute agendas, attend meetings, and take minutes of faculty assembly meetings.
Coordinate the drafting of announcements, review and awarding of selected internal award programs.
Oversee the Faculty Affairs webpages, including responsibility for providing content accuracy and timely update information.
Coordinate with the Research Institute and the Faculty Assembly Research Committee to provide event planning support for faculty research day.
Assist with other administrative duties throughout the Graduate – Postdoctoral Studies and Faculty Affairs offices as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications :
Education :
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or 4 years of related office experience.
Experience :
1 year of applicable experience in a university setting
Preferred Qualifications :

Master’s degree
Experience :
3 years of experience in a university setting
Experience with workday / enroll and pay systems
Skills :

Compensation Statement :
The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
