Why This Role Matters

As the Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing and enhancing the Credit Union’s Quality Assurance program. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in processes related to financial risk management. This position involves supervising Quality Assurance staff, performing audits, analyzing data, and collaborating with other departments to maintain compliance with policies and regulations. Your ability to identify discrepancies and implement process improvements will directly contribute to the success of UKFCU’s operations.


What You’ll Do

Quality Assurance Program Oversight:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Credit Union’s Quality Assurance program.
  • Conduct independent research on policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state financial laws and internal policies.

Auditing & Compliance Monitoring:

  • Perform targeted testing for consumer compliance requirements.
  • Review and verify audit reports to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of audit results and quality assurance findings.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze Quality Assurance production and discrepancy data to recognize trends.
  • Generate quarterly reports for the Compliance and Risk Manager and senior management.
  • Leverage data insights to support training and process improvement initiatives.

Process Improvement & Risk Mitigation:

  • Provide recommendations for enhancing internal controls and operational efficiency.
  • Identify potential risks and collaborate with teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with internal departments to ensure that quality standards are met consistently.

Training & Staff Development:

  • Supervise and mentor Quality Assurance staff, providing ongoing training and development.
  • Conduct training sessions to improve compliance awareness across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain updated training materials related to compliance and quality control.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:

  • Work closely with regulatory compliance teams to stay updated on industry best practices.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring timely responses to audit requests.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives that support organizational growth and compliance.

 

Qualifications


Who You Are

Experience & Education:

  • 5-8 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, or auditing within financial services.
  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong background in compliance testing and risk management practices.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing financial data.
  • Ability to interpret and apply financial regulations effectively.

This position allows for an optional hybrid work arrangement which includes a combination of both in-office and remote work arrangements. (Maximum of two days remote, three days in-office). To be eligible for the program, employees must complete a minimum of 90 days of continuous, regular employment, be in good standing, and submit a formal hybrid work application prior to being eligible for hybrid work, pending supervisor approval. Work schedules will be established by the employee's supervisor according to business needs. Working locations and schedules may be altered at management discretion.

 

Salary : $35 - $37
