Job Summary | The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism seeks a Scientist I to work in a laboratory setting to assist in conducting research in diabetes and obesity. Duties include but not limited to: performing routine laboratory assignments using genetic, cellular and molecular biology methods, evaluating results and analyzes data for maintenance of data quality. This position will involve working mostly with human derived samples but will involve minimal human participant interaction. Among the laboratory skills needed are experience in histochemistry and immunohistochemistry with appropriate microscopy. This position will have a small amount of oversight of laboratory management, including the maintenance of data and placement of supply orders. |
