Shift Monday – Friday, 8 : 00am-4 : 30 pm (37.5 hours / week) Job Summary This position will play an integral part in achieving the goals of Treasury Services and the University by providing effective fiscal management and oversight of University incoming funds and by ensuring the accuracy of financial data.Responsibilities in these efforts will include :
- Communicate effectively with staff, faculty and outside customers / vendors concerning treasury operations, critically thinking to resolve complex problems, answer questions, and explain appropriate actions to be taken.
- Preparation of the university’s accounts payable checks for distribution.
- Preparation of the daily university bank deposit including logging, auditing and posting all deposits.
- Research, analyze, document, and park / post deposit corrections.
- Monitors and records funds transferred to university wide and department clearing accounts.
- Analyze transmittals for reimbursements / reduction of expenses and communicate with departments to have reduction form completed.
- Prepare departmental PRD’s, SRM’s, JV’s and cash / check transmittals.
- Responsible for training and development of Accounting Coordinators on proper transmittal preparation, audit and posting procedures.
- On an ad hoc basis, perform special projects as directed by senior management.
