None. Physical Requirements This position will require you to sit and / or stand at a workstation for extended periods; lift and / or carry light-weight objects. Shift 8 : 00 am – 5 : 00 pm, Monday – Friday. Job Summary The Implant Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless preparation and execution of implant cases within the College of Dentistry. This position involves a diverse range of responsibilities, from coordinating surgical preparations to assisting with patient care in clinical settings.
Duties include :
- 1. Overseas the necessary pieces, parts, instruments are present for Implant cases
- 2. Orders the implant and marries the implant to the surgical guide to have it ready for the surgical case
- 3. Communicates with referring facilities that the implant is ready to restore
- 4. Super user and trainer for : IOS, X-Nav and PRF
- 5. Maintains impression cart
- 6. Facilitates and coordinates AOX procedures
- 7. Participates in afternoon clinic and morning clinic : assisting surgeries, placing IV’s, monitoring patients, taking basic vital signs, taking imaging, taking impressions, intraoral scanning, cleaning operatories, prepping trays, pre-oping patients, recovering patients, and cleaning operatories.

IEBC (Internal Employee Being Considered). Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Expanded duties certificate, certified BLS instructor, knowledge of implant procedures, communication, leadership, organization, planning, dependability, attention to detail. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education / Experience Three to four years’ experience in four-handed dentistry and surgical dental assisting is preferred. At least 2 years’ experience as an expanded duties dental assistant in general and / or pediatric dentistry; radiation safety certificate, and knowledge of proper infection control techniques in dentistry.
