50lbs, Overhead reaching, bending, walking for long periods of time and in repetition, data entry, wearing Lead Apparel for long periods of time, driving to off-site UKHC locations and affiliations. Shift Monday – Friday Days. Some weekends, evenings, and occasional holidays as needed; position is part of an on-call rotation for emergencies. Job Summary UK HealthCare is seeking a X-ray and Laser Program Manager to support the UK HealthCare Radiation Safety Program. This position reports to the UKHC Radiation Safety Officer and is focused on the UKHC Radiation Producing Machine safety programs (x-ray, laser). Essential duties including maintaining registrations, coordinating staff training including fluoroscopy safety training, conducting inspections, surveys, and audits, managing the UKHC patient dose monitoring program (including fluoroscopic skin dose) and managing the HC laser safety program implementation in collaboration with key stakeholders. Assist with other HC radiation safety program tasks as may be required. This position may supervise one or more team members.
