Job Summary
The Kentucky Regional Extension Center (Kentucky REC) is currently seeking a Technical Project Specialist I (Practice Transformation Advisor) to be responsible for assisting healthcare organizations with quality improvement; project planning and implementation; customer service; professional and staff development, and progress reporting for practices. The Technical Project Specialist will work with multiple stakeholders across the state on Quality Improvement projects; gathering and capturing provider data; developing remediation plans; educating and assisting providers on federal regulations; and tracking progress for project purposes. In addition, the Technical Project Specialist I will facilitate HIT and non-HIT projects such as Quality Improvement, MIPS/MACRA, Promoting Interoperability and HIPAA Privacy and Security and other initiatives as required. The Kentucky REC serves as a trusted advisor to health care organizations, clinicians and leaders across the state, helping them to manage the complex and changing world of health care.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service, and communication skills; and the ability to cooperate with fellow team members and co-workers.
