Qualifications : Required

Bachelor’s Degree.

Experience liaising between researchers, university administrators, and external partners.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Google Workspace.

General understanding of research lab operations and procedures.

Experience developing and pitching research proposals to diverse audiences (private foundations, private research organizations, etc.).

Trustworthy with sensitive and private information.

Excellent oral, written, and technical communications skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks.

Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships that reflect courtesy, civility and respect.

Preferred

Master’s degree.

Work history reflecting evidence of successful collaboration with external partners.

Demonstrated ability to effectively translate complex information to a range of diverse audiences.

Advanced understanding of lab research operations and procedures.

Knowledge of research protocol(s).

Clear understanding of VEMI’s core research areas in accessible technology and autonomous transportation.

Work history within human subject research labs.

Evidence of ability to communicate and collaborate with diverse populations (age, technical familiarity, disability, etc.).
