Summary:
This is a rewarding opportunity for a motivated and skilled CT Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized CT imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute basic clinical competence in CT, in all locations, across all patient types, selecting accurate technical factors on an individual patient basis and demonstrating knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient.
- Apply knowledge of CT principles and practices, including anatomy and physiology, radiation safety and physics, patient positioning, and patient care skills, adhering to Joint Commission, State, Federal, organizational, and departmental regulatory compliance standards.
- Document accurate patient care activity in various electronic health records systems.
- Evaluate and ensure a safe and appropriate work environment, maintaining supplies and inventory in the area, informing appropriate colleagues when supplies need to be ordered from outside vendors, and documenting and reporting related to equipment/environmental problems in accordance with policy.
- Participate actively in departmental and organizational performance improvement initiatives and efforts to improve workflows, patient experience, and quality, as well as student and employee training and education activities.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or certificate in radiologic technology from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of Education (USDE) or Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
- 1 years of experience in radiology or related field.
- Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technology ARRT (R) and (CT), Licensed Radiographer - State of Maryland, and Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.
