Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist II to join our team at the University Of Maryland Medical System. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized diagnostic imaging procedures in at least two imaging modalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executes basic clinical competence in general radiology, ensuring accurate technical factors on an individual patient basis and demonstrating knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree, Certificate, or advanced degree in radiologic technology, or modality of employment, from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of Education (USDE) or Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
- Working competency in additional modality.
- Registered with American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- Licensed Radiographer - State of MD.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.
