We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist II to join our team. In this role, you will perform high-quality CT imaging procedures and provide exceptional patient care.
About the Position
- Operates CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Prepares patients for CT procedures, explaining procedures and positioning them correctly.
- Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Executes CT imaging procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Develops and maintains knowledge of CT principles, anatomy, and physiology to optimize imaging results.
- Maintains accurate and detailed records of patient care activities.
- Participates in departmental performance improvement initiatives to enhance workflows and quality.
Requirements
- Associate degree or Certificate in radiologic technology from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of Education or Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and licensed as a Radiographer in the State of Maryland.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.
