What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diagnostic Imaging Technician II position at University Of Maryland Medical System?
We are currently looking for a seasoned Digital Imaging Technician to fill this critical role within our diagnostic imaging team at the University Of Maryland Medical System.
The successful candidate will bring extensive knowledge and expertise in computed tomography, having completed a certified training program and holding current certifications in CT imaging from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality in CT image production.
You will be responsible for operating complex imaging equipment, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care, and contributing to ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants should possess a bachelor's degree in health science or related field, along with at least 2 years of experience as a registered Radiographer and CT technologist, and be certified by the ARRT in both CT and Radiography modalities.
A valid licensed Radiographer status in the State of Maryland and Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification are also required.
