Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Perform sonography examinations on patients, focusing on Perinatal/Ob/Gyn procedures.
- Ensure the highest quality of medical imaging by following established protocols and techniques.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns.
- Maintain aseptic technique during examinations to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans.
- Keep accurate records of all procedures performed, including patient history and imaging results.
- Stay updated on advancements in sonography technology and techniques to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to medical terminology standards when documenting findings and communicating with the healthcare team.
Requirements
- Certification or degree in Sonography or a related field.
- Proven experience in performing ultrasound examinations, preferably in Ob/Gyn settings.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare staff.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and safety protocols in a clinical environment.
