What are the responsibilities and job description for the OFFICE MISC (TEMP) position at University of Michigan?
What You'll Do
In this position the person will be going from hospital to hospital checking that equipment is in the correct location and changing out low batteries. They will utilize an app called mobile view and input data into the mobile page. They will also be responsible for changing the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags and updating as needed.

Who We Are
The Patient Equipment Department maintains and distributes high use equipment, such as infusion pumps and suction regulators and sets up traction. Patient Equipment owns over 10,000 pieces of equipment and arranges for supplemental rental equipment when demand exceeds supply. Our top priority is to improve the quality and safety in the care and services we provide our patient, visitors, and caregivers.
Required Qualifications*
- High School Diploma
- Able to walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time
Work Schedule
This position is Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm

Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
