Job Summary
Under direct supervision, the Project Associate Manager will support the management, execution, and completion of research projects focused on translational science in urologic cancer. This role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, facilitating collaboration between basic science and clinical research groups, and ensuring that project milestones align with the goal of translating laboratory discoveries into clinical applications.
Responsibilities*
- Assist in managing and coordinating research projects focused on bridging laboratory findings with clinical advancements in urologic oncology.
- Identify appropriate scientific and clinical resources, ensuring seamless collaboration between investigators, clinicians, and external partners.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of key translational research objectives.
- Support data collection, analysis coordination, grant applications, and regulatory documentation to facilitate the progression of discoveries toward clinical trials.
- Communicate project status updates, key findings, and challenges to the Senior Project Manager and research leadership.
- Maintain familiarity with project objectives, research methodologies, and the roles of team members to ensure effective coordination of activities.
Required Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences, public health, or a related field.
- Experience (less than two years) in research project coordination, preferably within oncology, translational science, or related fields.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced research environment.
Desired Qualifications*
- training/experience in clinical trial coordination/management and basic/translational/clinical science.
