Job Description
This position performs the duties of Monitoring, Operates and Provides Support to the equipment in Telecom Data Center, and North Node Disaster Site along with enforcing Security Policy, and Monitors Infrastructure controls at both locations.
Monitor, Operate and Provide Support :
- Monitor system displays and messages
- Identify and take action to resolve systems problems
- Assist system owners with the problem resolution and system administration
- Restart computer systems as scheduled, requested or required.
- Respond to system generated requests
- Respond to change management requests
- Provide user help and support
Data Center Management, Documentation and Communications :
Security & Infrastructure Controls :
Special Projects :
Shift
3 day working shift rotations
Day Shift 7 : 00am - 8 : 20pm
Night Shift 7 : 00pm - 8 : 20am
This position will likely be filled for the night shift rotation
Minimum Qualifications
Applicant must be able to work long (12 hour) shifts as well as lift and move 45 pounds. Applicant must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Background in HVAC, plumbing or building repairs is desirable. Experience in Data Center or other critical environments is desirable.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range : $12.73 - $20.10 Commensurate with experience
