Job Description
The School of Medicine and the Department of Pediatrics are pleased to announce the opening for a Finance & Accounting Analyst. The ideal candidate will play an instrumental role in the success of sustaining our department’s mission and goals for our finance team.
Detailed Description:
Handles the fiscal transactions for the Department of Pediatrics. Reporting through a variety of different tools including ad hoc reporting. This position works closely with leadership teams in the department to train them on financial oversight of their respective division.
Prepares monthly financial reports using the department guidelines to be sure the proper documentation is on file for transactions.- Training and troubleshooting on finance applications including reports and requisitions,
- Prepares monthly reconciliation reports
- Prepare JED funding changes or ePAF's for hiring, job changes, and terminations for personnel within the department.
- Provide support and input to the department budgeting effort via department discussions and through data entry into budgeting software.
- Other duties as assigned

Shift Type: Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Hiring Range: $21.28 - $27.00
