About the Role:
The Fund Administration Coordinator is part of the Fund Administration team at the University of Montana Foundation. This position will support the Assistant Director of Fund Administration and act as a liaison to campus partners relating to scholarship administration.
This position assists with fund documentation and information that is routed, tracked, stored, and distributed as needed. In addition, the Coordinator must foster and sustain positive relationships with colleagues in the UM Foundation and at the University of Montana to facilitate communications regarding the activities of Fund Administration and the scholarship budgeting and awarding process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with drafting gift and fund documentation
- Assists with the creation and maintenance of funds and digital distribution and storage of fund documentation
- Collaborates with various University departments, units, and colleges regarding scholarship administration
- Assist with the compilation and distribution of the scholarship budget and related information to campus partners
- Assist with year-long intensive management of scholarship awards and donor information, including auditing awards
Ideal Candidate:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent
- One year of relevant work experience
- Extensive experience with current Microsoft Office software applications and a database application
- Bachelor’s degree and experience in database management, donor relations, fund administration or related areas preferred
