The University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking anAdministrative AssociateFaculty SenateMonday-Friday 8am-5pm |$17.45-21.54 / hourTo apply, please visit : The Administrative Associate for Faculty Senate is responsible for coordinating, organizing, and managing all administrative duties of theUNO Faculty Senate, its standing committees, and the physical office. The Administrative Associate also works with the grievance committees, university administrators, and the faculty. The Administrative Associate is generally charged with a) handling administrative responsibilities and duties, b) providing coordination and support for all regular meetings involving the Faculty Senate, Executive Committee, and / or administration, and c) supporting the FS President and Executive Committee in leading FS business. Additionally, the Administrative Associate provides support related to community engagement including assisting with project coordination and support, administrative tasks, and connecting both faculty and community partners with the information and resources they may be seeking about engagement on campus and in the community. The Administrative Associate must be self-motivated, an independent worker, have excellent problem-solving skills, be well-organized and detail-oriented, and be able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. The Administrative Associate must exhibit professionalism and exceptional communication skills. The Administrative Associate must also be trustworthy and able handle sensitive and confidential information. While formal supervision of the Administrative Associate is provided by theAVCfor Academic Affairs, daily supervision and guidance is provided by the FS President.
