Through the Council of Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), we seek candidates for an exclusive internship program designed to increase and diversify the number of professionals in educational advancement and attract students who may not have previously considered a career in institutional advancement. This program will occur May 28 through July 25, 2025, and includes in-depth work experience, education, and all-expenses-paid attendance at a national CASE conference in Washington D.C., June 22-24, 2024. This program offers you the opportunity to assist our UNL Development team by enhancing our internal scholarship processes, identifying solutions to show impact, and crafting communication strategies to promote scholarships. In addition, you will play an integral role in gathering data and impact reporting for donors to the Teacher Scholars Academy.
Ways you’ll contribute:
- Maximize scholarship funding, utilization, and stewardship.
- Help with efforts toward improving our scholarship fundraising and communication.
- Create a summative and formative evaluation of the Teacher Scholars Academy Program.
- Utilize survey and personal interview methods with program participants to evaluate program effectiveness.
- Generate an evaluation report, including outcomes and outputs of the program.
- Supporting the overall UNL Development team with various projects.

What you need:
- Education: Current student status (Undergraduate or Graduate Student) within the University of Nebraska. Preferred Education/Experience: Leadership involvement on campus; project management skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to details, and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while always keeping the needs of the donor foremost and working with little supervision.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills when working with a variety of people.
- Exposure and aptitude to learn Microsoft Office Suite.
