Develop an annual report showcasing the impact of various college initiatives at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to enable the University of Nebraska to change lives and save lives.

Through the Council of Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), we seek candidates for an exclusive internship program designed to increase and diversify the number of professionals in educational advancement and attract students who may not have previously considered a career in institutional advancement. This program will occur May 28 through July 25, 2025, and includes in-depth work experience, education, and all-expenses-paid attendance at a national CASE conference in Washington D.C., June 22-24, 2024. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week commitment. Please see more information about pay and location below.

This program will provide you with the opportunity to assist our UNL Development team by creating an annual report template that can be utilized to show the impact of the development teams’ efforts. This project will remain sustainable for years, as our stewardship team will channel requests for data and stories through it.

Ways you’ll contribute:

  • Utilize existing, award-winning stewardship standards to create a comprehensive annual report of the college and create meaningful engagement opportunities for all donors.
  • Design and develop visually appealing marketing materials that bring the annual report to life, aligning with the college's branding.
  • Conduct research to identify and gather relevant data.
  • Utilize data insights to inform marketing efforts, blending creativity with analytical thinking.
  • Collaborate with campus partners to better engage and engrain alumni and donors.
  • Supporting the overall UNL Development team with various projects.

What you need:

  • Education: Current student status (Undergraduate or Graduate Student) within the University of Nebraska. Preferred Education/Experience: Leadership involvement on campus; project management skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to details, and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while always keeping the needs of the donor foremost and working with little supervision.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills when working with a variety of people.
  • Exposure and aptitude to learn Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Candidates will also be evaluated on our core values of passion for mission, integrity, and teamwork
