You would join the foundation at an exciting time, with the opportunity to make a transformational impact. The foundation recently publicly announced a historic campaign to raise $3 billion from 150,000 donors to build a better future for Nebraska. The campaign is being led by more than 300 enthusiastic volunteers representing all areas of the University of Nebraska System. UNL anchors the campaign, with a goal of $1.5 billion and 95,000 unique donors. Substantial progress has been made toward the UNL target, with more than $760 million raised from 74,000 unique donors.
Ways you’d make an impact:
- Be responsible for a high volume of data processing, constituent and gift research, information retrieval, coding and correction of records, memberships, and communication.
- Maintain the revenue records of the Foundation’s database of records.
- Be accountable for the accuracy and timeliness of revenue entry.
- Process wire transfers, stock and mutual funds, credit card gifts, including EFT processing, daily bank deposits, and opening and sorting mail in the Lincoln office.

What you need:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum Experience: 1 to 3 years’ experience in accounting, banking, data entry or a related field, or equivalent coursework.
- Computer skills including data entry and electronic file organization, with Microsoft Office experience preferred.
- Ability to learn new software applications, maintain orderly records, communicate effectively within colleagues and the public.
- Attention to detail, effectively manage multiple tasks, accurate sorting, and data entry.
- Discretion in handling confidential matters.
- Strong math and money-handling abilities, familiarity with a 10-key adding machine.
- Strong oral and written communications.
