Position Summary
Under General direction from the Supervisor and or Manager the Irrigation Technician will assist with irrigation operations and perform general landscape and grounds maintenance functions. The irrigation technician involves a wide range of responsibilities including adjusting controllers, irrigation repairs, troubleshooting, coordinating water usage, spring start up, winterization, irrigation locates for construction, grounds and landscaping task, snow and ice removal, and other related duties as assigned.

Duties :
Adjust controllers, coordinate with supervisor and or manager to make decisions of irrigation water use, trouble shooting of irrigation system, spring start up and winterizations, assist contractors, irrigation locates in construction areas, estimates of cost for material needed, keep adequate supply of supplies, and maintain equipment of UNO's irrigation systems.
