Job Description
The Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno seeks a creative and collaborative Assistant Professor of Public Relations and Advertising. This position is a 9-month, tenure track, academic year appointment, at the rank of Assistant Professor. Professional experience is valued, as is expertise in one or more of the following : sports media, health communication, media production, and Spanish-language media. The starting date for the position is July 1, 2025.
The faculty hired for this position will teach classes for graduate and undergraduate students in public relations and advertising and contribute to our new online master’s program in Strategic Public Relations and Advertising. In addition, our new colleague will establish a research or creative agenda and pursue grants for interdisciplinary research.
Required Qualifications
A terminal degree or ABD in a related field.
Compensation Grade
University Academic Faculty - University Assistant Professor.
