This role involves teaching, mentoring students, and contributing to the growth of the program through innovative course design and delivery.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate finance courses, such as Financial Management, Money and Banking, Investment Principles, Financial Modeling and Decision-Making, Investments, etc. based on expertise and department needs.
- Develop and deliver engaging course content that includes real-world applications in the finance industry, including emerging topics such as FinTech, ESG investing, and cryptocurrency.
- Design experiential learning opportunities such as case studies, financial simulations, and group projects that mirror real-world financial challenges.
- Participate in faculty meetings and curriculum planning sessions to contribute to academic initiatives and program development.
- Master’s degree (MBA, MS in Finance, or related field) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum two years of professional experience in finance, banking, investment analysis, or corporate financial management.
- Strong foundation in financial principles, valuation, capital markets, and risk assessment.
- Commitment to student success, engagement, and real-world application of finance concepts.
- Doctorate (PhD, DBA) in Finance or related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, CFP, or FRM.
- Experience teaching at the undergraduate level in an academic or corporate training setting.
- Proficiency with financial analysis tools, trading platforms, and data visualization software.
