Responsibilities
- Manage full life cycle recruiting in an environment where the quality of hire trumps quantity.
- Build, develop and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of the university.
- Partner with department managers and HR colleagues to develop job description content that is thorough, alluring to candidates, and aligns with business strategy.
- Partner with department managers to develop innovative recruiting strategies, and generate a pipeline of exceptional talent.
- Effectively utilize available recruiting tools, advanced sourcing techniques, including social media to identify and engage talent.
- Solve problems and produce solutions by collecting and analyzing data and adapting as needed to shifting business demands.
- Provide strong customer focus throughout the process.
- Manage system implementation/upgrade and training communication efforts.
- Act as back up with ATS troubleshooting, background and MVR checks, drug screens and onboarding.
- Gives work direction and guidance to HR Team, where needed.
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of recruiting experience, or any combination of higher education and related experience equivalent to 5 years in a high volume, fast-paced work environment.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system as well as LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social recruiting platforms; experience utilizing job boards, cold-calling, and other sourcing mechanisms to identify candidates.
- An eye for detail and strong intuition while screening candidates to assess if the candidate will thrive in our work environment.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, with focus on excellent customer service.
- Self-directed with high-level of initiative and strong work ethic.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, results and solutions oriented.
- Demonstrated time management skills, and adaptive to change while working in a “forward thinking” environment.
