What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Services Rep position at University of New Mexico?
UNM Parking and Transportation Services is looking for an energetic, customer-friendly individual with strong interpersonal and cash management skills to support various activities within our business division.
Responsibilities include:
- Communicating parking and transportation information to customers
- Point of sales and credit card transactions
- Assisting with special event parking during evenings and weekends as needed
- Supporting customers at the Transportation Information Center in the SUB
- Performing data entry and maintaining files
- Participating in promotional activities
- Completing other miscellaneous assigned duties
- Ability to work shifts of at least four consecutive hours, preferably on Tuesdays between 7:15 AM and 4:15 PM during the current spring semester
- Work-study award recipient
- Prior experience in cash handling/POS and customer service
- Availability to work at least 20 hours per week
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for event support
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check required for selected candidates
