Position Summary | The Universityof New Mexico, Office of the University Controller, also known as FinancialServices, located on Main Campus is responsible for all central accountingfunctions for the University. It is the responsibilityof the Controller's Office to ensure compliance with all financial policies,rules, and regulations adopted by the University or imposed by externalagencies, including state and federal audit requirements, following generallyaccepted accounting practices. Additionally, the Organization oversees themaintenance of the official financial records of the University. WithinFinancial Services is the Mailing, Shipping & Receiving departmentwhich is the mail and package processing facility for the University of NewMexico. The department is seeking a hardworking, dependable individual to jointhe team as a Coordinator, Mailing Operation! Mailing,Shipping & Receiving is the mail processing facility for the University ofNew Mexico. The department is seeking a hardworking, motivated individual with anexceptional work ethic to join their team in the role of Coordinator. The coordinator,in conjunction with our Customer Service Supervisor, monitors, receives, andreviews the departmental email associated with mailing and shipping requests todetermine the nature and extent of services required. Various tasks willrequire high attention to detail to ensure accuracy. The successful candidatemust possess the ability to train new and current employees in the pickup,delivery, and processing of mail, packages, and accountable mail for Mailing,Shipping & Receiving. In addition, the candidate will work and assist the CustomerServices Supervisor with printing, preparing bulk, permit, and presortedclasses of mail, and all forms associated with each process. The successful candidate will act as a liaisonlead under the supervision of Mailing’s management team. See the Position Description for additional information. |

Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
