The University of New Mexico, Office of the University Controller, also known as Financial Services, located on Main Campus is responsible for all central accounting functions for the University.
It is the responsibility of the Controller's Office to ensure compliance with all financial policies, rules, and regulations adopted by the University or imposed by external agencies, including state and federal audit requirements, following generally accepted accounting practices. Additionally, the Organization oversees the maintenance of the official financial records of the University.
Within Financial Services is the Mailing, Shipping & Receiving department which is the mail and package processing facility for the University of New Mexico. The department is seeking a hardworking, dependable individual to join the team as a Coordinator, Mailing Operation!
Mailing, Shipping & Receiving is the mail processing facility for the University of New Mexico. The department is seeking a hardworking, motivated individual with an exceptional work ethic to join their team in the role of Coordinator.
The coordinator,
in conjunction with our Customer Service Supervisor, monitors, receives, and
reviews the departmental email associated with mailing and shipping requests to
determine the nature and extent of services required. Various tasks will
require high attention to detail to ensure accuracy. The successful candidate
must possess the ability to train new and current employees in the pickup,
delivery, and processing of mail, packages, and accountable mail for Mailing,
Shipping & Receiving. In addition, the candidate will work and assist the Customer
Services Supervisor with printing, preparing bulk, permit, and presorted
classes of mail, and all forms associated with each process. The successful candidate will act as a liaison
lead under the supervision of Mailing's management team.

Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be
determined after consideration of the selected candidate's education,
experience, and qualifications.

position is on-site Monday-Friday 7:30 - 4:30

- Possession of a valid New Mexico driver's license is a requirement for this job.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer, pre-employment physical examination and medical history check.
- Must be able to work evening and/or weekend overtime as required.
High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to utilize and understand the metering equipment
- Knowledge of electronic tracking system
