Located in Gallup NM, approximately 138miles west of Albuquerque, UNM-Gallup is situated in the Four Corners regionand near the Navajo Nation, Zuni Pueblo and Hopi Reservation. The city ofGallup has a population of 22,000 and the surrounding areas provide anabundance of outdoor recreational activities, various museums and extraordinarycultural vibrancy, while maintaining a small-town feel. TheUniversity of New Mexico Gallup Campus is seeking applicants for the Manager of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). The Manager reports to the Chancellor, manages the planning,development, marketing and operation of the branch campus Small BusinessDevelopment Center, which provides local small business development assistanceand support in accordance with the stated goals and objectives of the NewMexico Small Business Development Center Network and the U.S. Small BusinessAdministration, and in adherence to relevant State and Federal legislation, regulations,and guidelines. Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
